What does a custom quilt entail?
You’ll start by filling out that questionnaire and we’ll work together to find you the right design, color palette and texture. I’ll give you a final price estimate plus a general time line. Once I get to work, I’ll keep you updated along the way to make sure everything is looking good and you’re still excited about the direction. After the quilt top has been sewn, it will be long-armed (an enormous sewing machine designed to quilt through fabric and batting!) and I’ll finish off the quilt’s edge with binding fabric. Finally, your quilt will be delivered to you!
Are there returns, refunds or exchanges?
There are no returns, refunds or exchanges at this time. I’m a small, one-lady shop that cannot manage returns or refunds on custom items that I invest time and money into. After you fill out the questionnaire, the quilt has been planned and you pay your deposit, that is non-refundable. You must pay your final bull before receiving your finished quilt.
How long will this process take?
Once we finalize the design, fabrics, threads and quilting style, it should be done and shipped within 6-12 weeks, depending on current workload. I’ll let you know once we confirm details what my shipping turnaround is and when I expect to be done! If you need the quilt by a specific date, please let me know immediately upon emailing me. If I know upfront what your timeline is, I can let you know if it’s possible!
